Winter edition... The frost line is 6 to 8 inches in spot. The ground just laughs at the Lesche and shovel. Took out the heavy artillery today. Kind of a drag lugging them around but they made digging a little more acceptable.;)

WHAAAA! :shocked03: Steve your a die-hard :notworthy: next year for Christmas i might get you a pneumatic jackhammer , dynamite and a small pack animal to carry it around for you  . well done :cheering:

A cordless drill w/auger bit, a little C4, and you might get into the ground here.

I've thought about using Tannerite, but I don't want to alarm the local Gend'armes or get the attention of Homeland Security.

That is some sheer determination, of which I can fully understand (the MD fever, not the frozen ground.)

Nice:clapping: I see some digging but no gold coins  I bet you are VERY selective on which targets get dug.

I can just see you leading a pack mule around at your detecting sites

Don't scratch any coins with that jackhammer

Curing that cabin fever can be a tough endeavor but it looks like you're working at it Steve :thumbsup01:

I thought of using those tools yesterday, the temps here were in the 40s but the grounds pretty hard.

Now we're talking, that's a great set up for digging that frost line. Sure would hate to miss and hit my hand though.....:stretcher:

:hystericallaugh: You are die-hard Steve!!! I love Dan's comment about the dynamite... American Digger wrestler dude could give you some tips on that
