Military Button From the Farm Field

Found this button on the farm field that has given up many colonial buttons and a war of 1812 artillery button. This button features an indian holding a bow and arrow with a single star to the right of the figures head. I can make out the word Boston on the back. Not sure if its revolutionary of later :thinkingabout:.

I have found a similar one. My back says A M P and BOSTON on the bottom. AMP stands for Aaron Merrill Peasley, a Boston button maker from between 1813 - 1820, if I remember correctly. Forgot to add that mine also has COMMONWEALTH on the front.

very cool old button Mike |:cheering: |:cheering: Dave and Al would be correct in the age of this button . congrats on a nice piece .

Congrats on the nice find. Wouldn't it be nice if it could tell us the story of its life? I'm sure it would be interesting!
