Minie balls and creek crossings

Went back to the Civil War camp with my kiddos. Then off to a sketchy section of creek to try to locate another 1860s crossing. Nice bed rock. Startling bull frog. And the biggest beach tree I've ever seen with carvings along the side.

Thanks for sharing the water video with all of us. I kinda scared of snakes where I live to get in over my ankles. Anyway bet there are some great finds just under the surface - hmmm just might give it a try.
