My golf league cancelled our 1st day of golf due to some unbelievable rain the day before but I ended up at a golf course anyway with Al, Steve and Drew. Drew had a nice seated dime before I even got there, not far from where we park. So I decided to check out the area where we parked and immediately got a 1926 Merc. Five feet away I found what Drew says is another rosette, which I think is the 4th one I dug here. I thought it was a buckle at first. 20 feet from there was the Sacajawea dollar coin. The 3-ring Ballentine beer logo was used to mark golf balls on the green in the '50s and '60s. The 1946 Rosie came last along with 3 bucks in clad. The oldest wheatie was 1940. The buffalo nickel I found last week and 3 days of soaking in Worcestershire sauce produced a date-1917, my oldest. After we left Steve snagged a draped bust Largie. Going back tomorrow after back surgery lol.
