Musket Ball and Barrel???

So today I found another little lead shot in my back woods. I also found what I thought to be just a random metal piece at the time, but after cleaning it off it looks like it could be the barrel to a pistol or musket; whatever shot these little lead balls. A few parts of the sides crumbled off, but this musket ball fits too perfectly. The last picture shows where I think the hammer could've possibly been. Don't really know. I think it's too much of a coincidence that the ball fits perfectly in it

I would tend to agree that it looks like a small caliber pocket pistol barrel. What it looks to me is that possibly the barrel may have exploded as often happened on small light weight muzzle loaded guns. Too much powder, fatigue, or blockage contribute to this happening, so I would assume that if this was the case is would explain why it may have been tossed in the woods.

It could be the remnants a small pocket pistol . I would have fun with it , putting it on people's carpets and asking " do you smell something " ?

Sounds about right

I found this today near where I found the barrel. Maybe the front casing of the pistol? Not sure
