I am so pleased with this little beauty. I've been detecting about 9 months now and this is my 1st ever Roman item and what a nice item to start with.

It's a Roman Fibula Brooch with the pin intact which most pins are missing.

It sure has.... Give a lady something like this these days and they will ask what is it? or what am i suppose to do with that? LOL
 
Does the style hint at a possible date? I bet its older than the wheat penny I found this morning. :grin:

Yes it does and i have just recieved information of it's age and type.

late 1st-early 2nd century- T shaped Bow Brooch
