This is a repost from the Colchester Metal Detecting clubs forum. It was the trip of a life time with Illdigger. Now that I see it all together I can’t wait to get back there.

WOW, great bunch of finds and so neat to see them all identified like that! Congrats on such a wonderful trip and finds of a lifetime. Do you think you'll be heading back soon?

My jaw just hit the floor! :shocked05:

I think we had seen some of the coins but I don't remember seeing the gold link? Had you mentioned it before, Jeff? If so I missed it. I had no idea of the vast quantity of coins and relics that you found! WOW!

AMAZING! :notworthy:

It is mighty impressive all layed out like that... ain't it! :perfect10:
I think of all of the Roman silvers found in the spring hunts, including all of the hoard silvers, yours is the prettiest one of all!! It's a beauty!! :thumbsup02: And the 2 Anna is a cutie!:smitten: (Although the saw blade one is pretty cool too )
Man you had a lot of buttons!! Pretty dang impressive hunt if ask me! Specially when you factor in you not feeling good and missing 2 days of hunting.
Congrats again brother!! :beerbuddy:

I still think you should put your name on the standbys list for Sept. 2019. :angelic:

Coins and relics and buttons oh my! Wonderful haul Jeff. Now you see the itch us New Englanders have for the really old stuff! Love the little India Vicky silver and the early Roman Coin. The nearly complete 1500s era buckle toward the top is also a great find.

John
