Mystery Items - Any Ideas?

I found both of these in a farm field about 20 feet apart. They are approximately 3" x 3" x 6 1/2" and weight about 10 pounds each. Fairly heavy! They have a shallow hole in one end.

For the life of me I can't figure out what they might have been used for. Any ideas?


And don't tell me they are henways! :lol:

Interesting Tony. Are they maybe plow weights used to help the plow blades stay deep?
