Found this today, eagle on the world and an anchor ,any ideas?

It is Hollow

It appears to be an enlisted mans garrison cover (hat) Eagle, globe & anchor! The officers style has a more detailed rope and carvings have more relief visible! We called them an EGA! Now that's a nice find.

Definitely Marine Corps. It looks to be brass which is what I had in the early 70's. They now make out of plastic I think.
