Hey everyone. I am hunting some houses built in 1936 in the Florida Keys. Still on the 1st house and got a 1950 Rosie, 1919 Merc and this thing. Has me excited only because I don't know what it is. Size of a dime and thick. I can read "20" on one size but can't make out anything else. Any help would be appreciated.

looks like you found a lead bale seal , these were used by merchants to keep the integrity of their goods intact . The 20 could of been a count or weight measure to allow the buyer information about the product.

That looks to be a lead bail seal.
You might be able to see a spot along the edge where a piece wire came out of the lead. They would use them to seal bags of dry goods and such. They would also be used to indicate theh weight of the item. It looks like yours was possibly on a 20lb package? I think some even had business names on them. Google lead bail seal and you'll see lots of examples.
