hello LI Silver hound
welcome to the forum ;) . why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself , where you from , what kind of detector do you use and what kind of places are your favorite to detect?? i'm sure everyone would love to see any great finds you made recently. again welcome to the forum .

Hi Dan,
I am from long island new york.
I started metal detecting about 2 years ago started with a minelab se pro and graduated to the Etrac.
Garrett pro pointer.
Pretty new to the hobby i think
Favorite spots parks and schools.

What do you think is your best find so far?

My niece is going to Recruiter school for the Air Force and she will be stationed on LI. Maybe if she is close to you we can meet and do some hunting.
 
I have two seated dimes and got a barber spill 1 quater and two barber dimes. Those would be the best so far i would say.

Sure if you are in the area we could hunt.

WOW a Barber spill is great. I hunt with the V3i but my huning buddy uses the Etrac.

Welcome, LI Silver Hound! Glad you found us! Fellow E-Trac user here. Congrats on the two seated dimes, it took me 30+ years to find my first. The Barber spill is a terrific find too!
