Nickel trifecta, silver and an IH...

Got out for a nice hunt this afternoon. Found a new spot that has some potential. Lots and lots of trash in the top 2 inches, but the goodies are hiding at 5+ inches.

A couple of Rosie's, a Merc and a War Nickel. :happydance01:

The two V's were sandwiched together. You can see the contact marks. That was a fun dig. :yes:

Sure wish the half dollar was silver. I'm not quite sure what the tag is from. I wonder if 1895 is a date?

The pool products token was at the bottom of the hole when I popped a large plug.
Of course it was sticking out (with a reeded edge) just enough to get my hopes up. lol
Another Cocoa Pebbles Dinosaur token too... anybody else remember these?

I can't wait to get back there with my smaller coil. There's got to be some older silver waiting to be found. :yes:

It's the first time I've gotten a War Nickel, Buffalo and a V in the same hunt. Would have been nice to find a Shield Nickel too? lol

My buddy would flip if he seen that! He go's koo-koo for those dog tax tags :crazy: lol
