Not many targets this morning, but...

the few that did show up were nice. :clapping:

Dave had to postpone our park hunt this morning due to new additions to his family, so I decided to stick in town and save the park for a time when we could both go.

So, I went back to a site that gave me a Barber quarter, dime, a V and some IH's. I swung for a while before I got a pretty good signal that had a good chance at being silver. Out popped the Merc. Then more swinging gave me an awesome 00/28 from all directions and appeared to be about 6 inches on the depth scale. I knew this one was going to be silver... out popped another Barber quarter. :happydance01:

No wheats, no memorials, no clad. Just these...

Now something a little bizarre. There was one other target I dug this morning. I had to actually go into my junk pouch to get it. In Dave's post from today he found the exact same item... keep in mind we were probably detecting about 45 miles apart.

Can anyone calculate the odds on this occurring?

Great silver  Love the old stuff!! For a moment I thought you had a grand kid lol But a nice duplicate relic is good too ;) Someone will probably recognize it and give you guys some help.

Beautiful silver. :beerbuddy: The mercury dime is sweet, and that Barber quarter is lovely. :smitten:

Awesome finds Joe! The eagle on that item looks Germanic like a falcon, but I can't make out the writing.

I think I may have found out what that piece is. It's from a saw company and if you go to this link and click to zoom the image, you will see it is an ID for that company. There are many different variiations of the design of it.

:peace: <:

Incredible.... well done sir and a big thank you.

Thanks Milco. The text reads... 'Warranted Superior'
