I found this today in the same place I found the 3 cent piece last week. It's not valuable but an interesting find none the less.

It's a Franklin Pierce President coin, found in Cracker Jack boxes in the mid 1930s.

cool Cracker Jack mystery coin, have a look to see if you have canceled on the back of yours, you may have a rare one, it sure beats a tattoo or one of those folding faces I always got out of a box, nice find!!! :clapping: :clapping:

I was born in 1946, so these weren't even around yet. By the time I was old enough to remember Cracker Jacks all they had was junk for prizes, but at the time we thought it was golden. LOL

good save on the token, today cracker jacks have cool things like stickers :bangshead02: ,I remember in the 50's you could buy a tube of peanuts that had money in them, dollars were pretty rare...

That's a cool find,, :happydance01: :happydance01:,I've found a few of those, not in as good of shape as yours though

well now Frank , that is a very cool collector token . what is the composition of that piece  aluminum

Yes, it's aluminum Dan. Unfortunately they aren't worth much, but being they were around in the mid 30s make it an exciting find for me.

I got one of those last night too! :omg: Mine was Harding...anyone know the background on these tokens?
