Wednesday afternoon Diane and I went out for a couple of hours for afternoon hunt, went to a place where we have had some success in the past. Diane got three wheats. I got three wheats including an 1911...which somehow I dropped I also got a very nice Buffalo and the unusual coin a 1945 One Cent from Ceylon...now how did that end up here!

1945, could have been brought home from the war. Sorry you dropped the 1911, well alt least its something for the next detectorist. :congrats:

That's one of the great things about this hobby, you just never know what you are going to find! Very unusual coin, Tony. Congrats! :clapping:

Nice finds Tony! I once lost a wheatie that I had dug at a park and 2 weeks later I found it by accident laying on the surface and still had the dirt on it! It interesting that King George VI is depicted wearing his crown since he isn't wearing a crown on any of the British, Canadian, or Australian currency! Maybe it wa sonly on the colonial coins? The Buff and the Ceylon coin were about a foot apart! These came out of the spot I took you and Dave to.
