Well I put in my time this weekend. Tried the old park on Saturday. Then today I hunted a high school, elementary tot lot and an old home site. Still no silver. Not even a wheatie actually. But the home site had promise. Found the remains of the outhouse site,,, looks like a critter has tunneled into the side,,, probably a ground hog. At first I thought it might have been a cellar hole, but it the more I looked at it, it looked as if one side had just begun sinking. The privy, the big honkin' square nail and the lantern part told me I was hunting a spot with good potential.

On a side note- the guy who backed out of the White's deal went detecting with me Saturday. It was his first time detecting and he seemed to really enjoy it. I have a feeling we will share many hunts in the coming year.
