OLD CHURCH GREEN* 1865 2 CENTER & SILVER

My hunting partner was MIA again,so I wandered back up to the old church green in hopes of plucking another seated but I think i may have gotten them all.targets were sparce.a few fresh drops of clad,a 1917 wheatie,then i hit silver.was hoping it was gonna be a seated but turns out a 1952 rosie,a toasted 1865 2 cent piece and some sort of cuff linky thing that had this copper colored sparkly glass (broken) in the hole. I got a blister on my palm from diggin today.not used to cutting turf with my Lesche. I got spoiled using my predator shovel in the woods.
dug a lot of coal chunks too.they almost sound like deep Ih's >:{

You have made some great finds there! Very nice on the 2 center! Whats up with the MIA hunting partners? Are they out in the woods finding new cellar holes and holding out one you or what?

The Two Cent piece is an awesome dig. However it seems a little strange you digging a Rosie. lol oke: Should have thrown
that one back for the rest of us. Maybe 3-5 years it would have grown to a Merc. :dontknow:

Sigh. Maybe someday I will find a 2-cent piece. That one isn't so bad, still a clear date on it. For me it would be an incredible find!

That 2 center is looking rough, :congrats: on the silver. Been detecting for 5 years now and I only have 2 of the 2 cents pieces, both the same year.
