OLD CHURCH GROUNDS*SILVER*IH'S & A CIVIL WAR TOKEN

bored this afternoon so i took a scooter drive up to this old church yard that has produced in the past.ground was so dry but the Injuns were deep and reading beautiful for some reason. 1885,1887,1896 & 1906.
a no date (1864)patriotic civil war token that reads ARMY & NAVY (on obverse)
reverse reads THE FEDERAL UNION MUST and SHALL be PRESERVED
a 1916 (no D) merc and a 1898 barber dime.
a broken sterling cufflink with initialsMH and a hallmarked sterling broken butterfly necklace type thing. 7 wheaties and some clad.
a nice few hour hunt.after that i went over to the park and didn't find much except some newer change.

Your machine must have broughty it's A game lol Sometimes it's hard to understand why it works better in the dry than wet ground, but I'd take it!! You sure there ain't a D on that Merc?? lol Great finds, but nothing from the park? Is it really finally dead :shocked04: Say it isn't so.

thanks man! this site just keeps on giving.i'm sure there is still stuff at the park.it's so immense and so full of trash. very frustrating to say the least.

bet it was a funny feeling not having to walk a mile into the woods and use a machete to get swing space huh? good job on those nice finds..it sure looks like a fun hunt to me! keep it up!
