Only way I can find silver

I ran some errands on lunch today, and because I'm obsessive I stopped by the grocery store to check the coinstar reject slot. Payday! Two silvers and the usual Canadian coinage. Maybe I should quite trying to dig silver and just hit all the local coinstars... :dontknow:

Good for you on those silvers!!! thumbsup01

I haven't found any reject tray coins in my last ~30 trips to grocery stores. Oh well. Awhile ago, there were a good number of coins in the reject tray, so I kind of looked around, nobody was anywhere near me, and I started scooping HANDFULS of coins into my pocket. I think I ended up with like $13 in change (no silvers) and one penny- a 1909 VDB (sadly, no S mintmark). :shocked04: Somebody must of dumped a ton of coins in there at once, and forgot to check the reject tray to repeat the process. Worked out for me though! :happydance01:

Nice Z!! :clapping: I found a couple of wheats in a coinstar reject slot the other day!?! Guess the machine thought they were not real pennies!

Wow! That's great! I was pretty happy to receive a 1964 rosie when bought a 90 cent ice cream cone a while back :)

I always scan the coin trays at the bank teller window. Tuesday I scored a 1964 Washington Quarter. I have gotten a lot of silver this way. I'e even scored a standing quarter and a Franklin half in recent years. Get a lot of halfs and dimes.

Nice coin star finds :clapping: I check the coinstar every time I see one. I got a 1960 Roise a week ago. Most of the time I get corroded zincolns

I don't even know of a Coin Star machine around here :dontknow:
If I ever see one you can bet my grubby little fingers will be checking the reject tray  lol
Nice score! thumbsup01
Congrats
