Pre-Confederation early Canada token and other relics

Hit the fields again this past Saturday and came away with some decent finds. Cool and breezy so no sweating for this guy. Welcome that feeling but regret the season's coming to an end up here in about 6 weeks. Anyhow, found some early flat buttons, musket balls and other knickknacks including a nice little brass eagle which appeared to go on top of a flag or other item. Brass/copper piece with holes in it could perhaps be part of an old gun but alas I'm no expert on those. Best find (at 3 o'clock in the wide shot) was an 1814 Wellington Half Penny Token from Lower Canada. It's very thin and at first just thought it was another shankless flat button. But it rang up with a high signal and after a close look I saw writing around the edge so knew it was something a bit better. Thanks for looking and best regards.

Those are great finds John , the eagle piece is very unique and I don't see many found and I like the token . are there any war skirmishes or battles near your field ??

The Canada coin is awesome! I found a flag topper EXACTLY like that one!!! I'll have to show you a pic!

Thanks Dan. No skirmishes/battles that I'm aware of. There was apparently a school on the field I hunted at, but no maps really show it. That's why I'm thinking flag pole adornment.

Nice finds! any idea on the age of the eagle?

Thanks Brian. I'm not really sure of the age. It does have rudimentary threads on the inside, so my thought is it may date a little later than the other finds I posted. Perhaps later half of the 19th century? Just a guess though.
