Religious Experience - Silver, Indians, Shield & V nickels

Went out to an old park and newer school yard over the weekend. The park turned up some old coins including a toasted shield and V Nickel as well as a nice silver cross. The Catholic school yard turned up the rest of the silver including the religious medal. Interesting as two popes were made saints over the weekend and here I am finding a cross and religious medal. Tried one small spot that was a bit out of the way and the silver just started popping out of the ground.

Haven't had a 7 silver day in a long time. Nothing special in the coins, but it's nice to find lots of silver.

I really like the shield nickel too, even though it is slightly toasted. They don't turn up very often.

Nice to hit an area that can produce V and Shield nickels. Barbers and Seated are hiding there somewhere. A decent amount of silver found in just 2 days. :thumbsup01:
 
Silver was running 4-6 inches at the one spot. At the spot where I found the Indians, our group of 6 pulled up 25-30 Indians, 2 seated dimes, 2 v nickels, shield nickel, 2 cent piece and a small gold ring in addition to my cross. Depths went as deep as 11".
