Dug this treasure tonite, which is really too embarrassing to post. (If you use your imagination, you can see the outline of an eagle there), trust me :grin:. I'm certain it was an 1856 in a previous life lol. 2nd FE this year, and only 2 IH as well, so go figure. All I can hope for is that this is from the seated silver era, so maybe I'll get some of that next time. CO of 16 on the E-Trac if you are interested. (Oh, and the reverse is even worse).

That ground is corrosive, you diggin at Chernobyl ? rofl In a couple more years it would have been gone to nothing. Even the CO 16 reading is low. Usually around 24. I hope you get the silver from there because it would be some Seated for sure. But at least you know the area is old.
