Alec and I got in a couple of hunts between all the thunder storms this weekend.
Saturday morning we hit an older home, Alec dug a 1954 Rosie and a couple of wheats. I dug a 1946 Rosie , a 1943-P war nickle and 1 wheat. That was it, the rain stopped us cold in our tracks.
Sunday, the rain stopped about noon so we headed out again. Alec dug a Silver dollar sized Dairy Queen Token. When he first saw it still covered in mud, he thought he had a Morgan dollar Still, a cool find. He also dug a couple of old gears, a good luck token, an old lock of some sort and a Wheatie. I was able to pull out another Rosie, a 1963, a money clip & a plated ring.
all in all, a couple of decent hunts..
