...and awoke to the sound of pouring rain >:\. A quick check of the doppler radar on my iphone showed that the heavy rain was just about done. Pull Tab Steve and I met up at an old school where we had gotten permission to hunt. Found 2 silver Washingtons, 6 wheats '19, '28, '42, 2 '44's and a '54. Also found a boy scout token dated July 1910 with a swastika on the back (was a sign of good luck before WWII).
Another video with the iphone, bare with me, still trying to get the video technique down.

Very well done Mike! Nice looking silver there. :clapping:
Glad to hear the weather cleared up for you guys to hunt.
The video was great.
I found the same boy scout medal last year. It's a pretty cool piece.
The big question.... did Steve get out of his silver slump? :dontknow:
Congrats.

:clapping: Yaaay for no rain! >:\
Congrats on the silver quarters!
The Boy Scout token is a super cool find!

Steve and I left the school at 9 am, he was heading out to another school. I hope the school paid off in silver. Knowing Steve, his slump won't last long!

Yep, the swastika was a sign of good luck before the Nazis. In fact, it struck me how many places in Asia I saw temples and stores and houses with the swastika over the door. Texas even has a ghost town that was named Swastika, Texas before WWII.

Good finds! Congrats!

You had a very nice day Mike! Love that token. Very cool happydance02 <: Congrats on the Silver :beerbuddy:
And Joe, My silver slump continues...

I dont mind the rain. It keeps the ground softer...at least for a while. >:\
It was a nice heavy rain the night before, the ground conditions were perfect. Digging a plug was like a knife through butter.
