Short hunt inbetween the rain drops!

Hello ALL!

I rained pretty stead all day here in Connecticut... but we had a 90 break late in the afternoon... I was watching the radar on the weather channel website... and headed out as mother nature permitted...

I ended up with 3 keepers and I gouged the best one :-(

Great quarter. I feel your pain about hitting the coin. I've hit a few of my better ones lately.

I can relate to the scratched quarter. It has been so dry here lately that I scratched about 50 % of the silver I found one day at a group hunt. Can hardly get the shovel to break ground. How come it always happens to the good coins lol I can't remember the last time I scratched a clad quarter Nice find and that place sounds like detector heaven. lol That '16 wheat was in better shape than the 40's one.
