:waving: Found myself back at my favorite private park today. For a little early morning hunt. A nice cool morning. With no bug problems to speak of. I think they have all died of thirst. We are in a drout here in south-eastern Mi. There is no moisture left in the ground at all. Unless you get close to the lake. Everywhere else. After you get past the sod line. It is nothing but powder. :white:usaflag:: We really need some rain! At first. It's like digging in concrete :blackeye:, until you break it up a bit. Then it just falls apart. Found my 40th silver coin for 2012 today :happydance01:. A 1950-D Rosie. Also another couple of firsts for me. My oldest coin so far. And my first Indian Head penny. 1880 :happy:! The new E-Trac has really sent me back in time, at this park. Finding the oldest coins, since I started MD'ing. Still searching for that silver half :hairpulling:! Thanks for looking! Hang in there, there has to be some rain coming soon, hopefully. Ah the elusive 1/2 dollar, where oh where can it be. Probably not where others have searched. congrats on #40 in the silver dept and for getting your oldest coin yet.
