Meet with Rob (tech125) this morning at new hunting place we did some research on and detected for only 3 hours due to heat temperature reached almost 100. My take for today hunt 1943D Merc, 1947D Rosie, small silver ring, 1937 Buff, total of 10 wheat's, religious pendant(stamped sterling but does not look like silver) and about $6 in clad. Thanks for looking and HH. Mike

Too bad you had to quit early, cause that was a good hunt in progress  Nice silver and I can't believe someone would lie about the Sterling part :shocked04: And it's a double No-No on a religious medal :shocked04: :shocked04: rofl Looks plated and peeling badly on the back. But that place really did produce. Hope the heat dies down so you guys can finish the task at hand :clapping:

Thanks coinnut, you are correct about that fake medal. This is second fake silver item I found so far. Very  why would someone stamp that junk sterling :dontknow: Now we need some cooler weather to be able to go for all day hunt. Good luck and HH. Mike

Only one reason    GREED lol Looked like the real thing when it was made, but only cost a fraction of solid Sterling silver.

What a ice hunt. To bad the weather isn't cooperating with you guys. Stinks about the sterling pendant. Coinnut is right, purley greed. Congrats on all your finds

Good hunt despite the heat. :happydance01: Detecting while the sun is beating down on you can be draining. :shocked01: But you managed some silver. :clapping:
