Silver Emerald Ring

Detected a new property today and found this really neat Uncas children's ring (silver and emerald) about 6" deep.

It looks to be a vintage ring. By the design, and by the patina.

Is it marked STERLING? :huh:
Usually the older ones are marked STERLING and it seems the newer ones are marked 925 . Just curious :dontknow:
