Silver, Indian Head Cents, Wheat Cents

This past Sunday I had two hours or so to detect so a long drive was not appealing. I remained in the immediate area and enjoyed a leisured hunt under some old large trees which provided shading from the hot sun. The slight breeze that had been blowing then made it pleasant to be out. The finds where fun as well. I dug up 9 Indian Head cents, three silver dimes, a buffalo nickel and several old wheat cents.

The Indian Head cents are dated 1873, 1888, 1891, 1893, 1898, 1901, 1903, 1905, and 1906.

Monday was the same, again opting for a local hunt, though I did have more time to detect this time around. On this hunt I picked up two silver coins, a Roosevelt dime and a 1903-O Barber quarter. I also dug up 5 Indian Head cents dated 1893, 1893, 1899, 1908, 1909.

HH!

Well, my eyes are not as blinded as usual from silvers by the dozen in this post, Angel. lol And yet still some fantastic digs. That's more indian heads than I've gotten all year. And that Barber quarter is a thing of beauty. Congrats!

Some of us around here really like it when you take the long drive.. rofl

Angel, once again the finds are great. I would love to find 14 IH's in two hunts, the early wheats are great and of course the Barber quarter is fantastic. The other silvers and nickels are also great finds.

:congrats: on all your keepers.
