Silver?

Can I tell if this is solid silver or plate by these marks?

Drew, if that is the only markings then I would say silver plate. The fineness should be stamped somewhere on the object if it is solid. It could be hidden under tarnish. Sometimes a good shining up will reveal weak marks.
