sledding hill sunday

got out sunday with another detector with cabin fever and hit a few sledding hills. not much in the snowpack, but many signals under the snow, i found two of those scout neckerchief thingies, one of them i punctured with the rock pick :bangahead01: also holed a quarter :bangshead02:. not worth messing up the grass under the snow. only went after targets above the grass after that. i don't want to give any park employees reason to dislike detecting. it felt good to get out and have the beeping in my ears again.

I agree Dad. It felt good to get out!
After I talked to you on the phone I went out for about 6 hours.
And you were right. Under the snow is slush and under the slush is 1' of ice and then it's rock hard under that :bangahead01:
So I went and hita couple of field sites. Not much to show for it but I can tell I was out....I got some sore muscles today lol thumbsup01
Better days are on there way.
Congrats on the neckerchief slide

Just getting out to scratch the itch had to feel pretty good.

The season can only get better from here.

Nice to be outside, breathing in the fresh air, tecting away :daydream:,thinking of better days to come...I have tried a few sled hills with not much luck..I think some one else was beating me to the draw on em,can't wait to see what you nail on your next outing,Dave

early bird gets the worm, :clapping: if your at a ski resort hit the bunny hill, alot of beginners falling all day long......... cha ching!!!!

Good that you were able to get out for sure and found some stuff too thumbsup01 everyone's starting to hunt again since this weather finally decided to start warming up some.

I bet some of the old ski hills can have some nice finds to them. Glad you got out, but the rock hard dirt can put a damper on things lol
