Slow digging, but finally back on the trail of Silver

It's been slow digging around this part of the country, no silver for me in the month of July, but finally I found some moist ground in an old camping area on an area lake. The dime was found Aug 11th with my etrac and the quarter was found today at my family business, established in 1941. I have never found any silver their, but finally today I got the quarter under my XP Deus coil. We are getting some hit and miss rain showers the past couple days so maybe the silver will start being found again.

Thanks for looking

Nice going on the silver Dave . |:cheering: I have accidentally tumbled a couple of silver dimes and once a silver quarter that where the color of that dime thinking they were clad . That shade of brown appearing on silver doesn't happen very often .The dirt's been pretty dry my way also .

Thanks Cheap Thrills, I hope the summer heat is close to being over and some much needed rain happens all over the country. Good luck to all

Dave

Dry conditions does make for some hard hunting. Congrats on getting your silvers. |:cheering: Hoping you can get some dousing rain soon.

Nice silver there Dave :congrats: You talk about DRY. I think we have had an inch total since the first week in May. >:# I got my 5 silver this morning before work, a 1927 merc dime. That's my third one in two weeks. I just wander how many I have walked over with this dry ground. Good job Dave, and good hunting to ya, thumbsup01

Might be slow digging for you... but you found some nice keepers recently. :clapping:
