Jesse is still puterless so,I told him I'd post for him.
He got a beautiful 1803 Draped Bust large cent,some buttons & a very cool pocket watch winder that doubled as a compass .never seen anything like this.
the pewter buckle he had dug on our last hunt and wanted feedback from you Dan on it.
shoe buckle? everything from that site was colonial to civil war era so,he was curious your thoughts on it

the compass themed watch winder is a naval associated design and go with the fish scaled patterned reverse , a very cool piece :smitten: :smitten: the buckle looks almost like cast lead instead of pewter could be a small shoe or even a knee buckle.
