Something big!

Two weeks ago. I finally dug my first silver half dollar, a 1951-D Franklin Half, from the edge of the park. Also, I dug a 1918 wheat in the same area. It was a good day.

WOW! I am HAPPY for you. I have yet to get a half. Really looking foward to it. Congrats on a GREAT find!
 
Sweet one :clapping: happydance02, never found a Franklin myself. Maybe today's the day, if I can get work finished up and outta here ...

For some reason you just don't see many of the Franklins being found. They are definitely a nicely designed coin. :smitten:

They're out there, but they have to be under your coil first. Keep swinging and you'll get one of them. It took me two years.
