Something different for me

Thursday is grocery day so I didn't have a chance to do a long hunt but did manage a three hour one in a small park. The park is typical of small parks in a city where there's no money: waste cans overflowing, trash all over the grass and dog poop. My initial hopes were not high and I started off by finding nothing but pennies which dissappointed me because I'm pretty good at finding dimes. In any case, one of the pennies was a wheat which in itself was good for me as I don't find very many.

After about an hour and a quarter I got a really good signal which turn out to be a ring. I'm not normally into jewelry but I must admit that finding this produced a pretty nice feeling.

After that I finally found my dimes.

There wasn't much in that park but it was a decent hunt for me.

Thanks. It's funny how you can find something decent in the worst possible place. Just amazes me.

.925 means sterling silver. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure. It's the most common mark for silver. Some items will be stamped sterling instead. Some will not be stamped at all.



That's a nice chunk of silver though. Congrats!

A silver ring like that is a great find for anyone. Makes my ticker go a little faster. Remember - Wheaties are the breakfast of champions. Great recoveries.
