Was built in 1902. Second floor was gutted by fire this last winter. Lady and her husband still live on the first floor. Stopped and got permission. Hunted it today. Very large house, very small lot. Ended up with a hand full of clad. 4 wheats, 1946, 52-D, 55-D, and a 195?. Some type of a homemade man's brass ring. No silver, argggggggggggg! While hunting the front yard the owner came out and visited with me for a while. I just happened on a pocket spill while I was talking to her. I explained to her about pocket spills. I started to pull out mem pennies. I would put them in her hand as I pulled them out. By the time I was through, she had 14 mem's in her hand. All out of a 6 hole. It was sooooo funny. She was doing a happy dance about these pennies. My previous record for a spill of any kind was 8 coins. So even though they are mem's, thats a record for me. Haha. She got so excited about the pennies that she is going to get me permission to hunt her neighbors yards. HH all.

Cody, talk to the jar. Nice spill and it looks like the homeowner is on your side. Hope you get the permission for the neighbors yard.

Nice hunt. That '46 looks brand new! There's got to be some silver there. Keep looking.
Yeah, that 46 is the nicest wheat I have ever found. Funny thing to. it was almost on top of the ground.

Neat story and finds, Cody! Too bad about the fire, I hope the home is salvageable.

I hope you get to go back and hunt the neighbor's yard! thumbsup01

Nice looking place to hunt Cody. :smitten: I'm sure there is silver there just waiting for you to get over it.
Good luck on getting into the neighbors yard too.
It's great to hear she was so excited with the memorial spill.
