Swedish Silver Ore

Met up with SilverStar early Sunday morning to beat the heat and humidity. After 15 minutes at the first park I wasn't finding much other than clad so I decided to hit the grassy horseshoe pit to see if there were any rings or jewelry. Got a nice soft high tone cut the plug and at first I could not find the target because it was small, really small. Turned out to be a 1900 Swedish silver 10 Tio Ore, weighs only 1.5g, 40% Silver. The rest of the day was clad, had to stop by 10:30am due to the heat. Thanks for looking, HH. Clad=$8.12.

Nice coin :clapping: Never seen one of those dug. A rare treat around here. Kind of a low mintage too at 1.17 million made. That made the hunt right there.

That's a great find, Rob! |:cheering:

I found a copper 2 ore last year but I have never seen a silver 10 ore. I didn't realize they were so tiny!

Very cool! Congrats! :clapping:
