Sweet Short Evening Hunt at the Spot

Hit the spot for a short hour long hunt this evening. I was rewarded with 15 coins total, but among them were 3 wheats, a shiny '48 dime, and a surprising 1891 Indian Head cent that is well worn but in otherwise nice shape. In fact, this Indian Head is in better shape than most of the wheats I've dug from this spot, and worlds better than the other two Indian Heads I've been fortunate enough to find here (check them out here: http://www.americandetectorist.com/forum/index.php?topic=6377.0 ). So all in all it was a great little hunt.

Happy digging...

Very nice! That site has been good. You can likely pick up several more Indian Head cents from that location.

That is a nice indian head. Thee soil at that site seems to be more gentle on copper than here. Pretty much all copper and non-silver coins come out pretty grungy.

I hope your luck keeps up.
