Sword hanger?

I was looking to place some relics of the same period in a riker box. Solid brass and unadorned. Searching various web sites I have not nailed it down. Hoping someone knows these.

Bruce i at first thought those brass loops and such resembled a sword hanger , wishful thinking i guess :embarrassed: they are in fact harness related (oxen or horse) some are called gagloops heres a picture of a couple in an old farming advertisement
