Three Merc's

Got permission to hunt a yard of a house that was built in the 20's. Got the front yard done today. Some clad, a junk ring, a smashed thimble. Got two wheats 1942-D and a 52-D. Three Merc's, 1917-S, 1941 & 1943. And then found this little jewel sitting in the garage. The lady and I are talking. HH to all.

Re: Three Lovely Ladies

:perfect10: looks like 3 more for the jar its got to be getting heavy by now congrats on your finds dennis

Cody, great some more silvers for the jar. I have to ask before someone else does, what did the car ring up as? :behave:

Congrats on the nice hunt and the three silvers, Cody! I love your photos of the coins still in the dirt!

Does the thimble say anything on it? I often find them smashed like that. I sometimes straighten them a little bit by carefully inserting the tip of needle-nose plyers into the thimble and prying it apart.

You would look great driving down the street in that old pickup!

Three Mercs in one hunt is great. :clapping: A nice bump to your yearly silver count. :beerbuddy:
Love the jewel in the garage. :smitten: Keep us posted Cody.

The truck is a '34 International. Found out that the body is just about all that there is International. Every thing else is Ford Ranger. Frame, suspention, motor, and drive train. It belonged to her late husband. She's not ready to sell it yet. Got a six cyl with turbo.
