Two hunts

Different parks..2 wheats in the 40's.. 2 toasted indians, I should have field cleaned them, it's the only chance they had.. \:[ a small car, and a lightly smushed navy button, I could use some id help on..Haven't looked at the heart thingy yet, prob fake..

I could see details out in the sun when dug, The dirt turned to concrete type crap, it couldn't have hurt i guess.. :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown:

It's not the cure-all for toasted IHs by any-means. But Toadman does bring up a good point/ tip. I've also noticed that pennies that you can get the dirt and crust cleaned off right away in the field usually DO clean up better. Some have no chance at all. :rolleyes: :dontknow: I too try and clean my IH's and wheaties a little right away in the field. For some reason it seems like if you let it dry on the coin the metal gets dried too, and they make a bond in the drying process. Usually making cleaning difficult or impossible \:[
