Two Park Hunt

This morning I got a call from Rob stating that he would not be going out today. Doing a google earth search I located a park in a couple of towns away so I decided to go there. Very overgrown, woodsie but i did get a wheat for what little time I spent there. A local was walking his dog and we started to talking and he told me that back in the day this park was very active. This park will bear some more scrutiny later. So I decided to leave and I checked my phone and I had a missed call from Rob. Called him back and now he is ready to go.

So I picked him up and off we went to our favorite park, you know, the one that keeps producing. My goal today was to get a buff so that I could post them in my signature, only need one. Wouldn't you know it, the 1st nickel signal that I dig and it's a V. Don't have a date yet (soaking in worchestershire sauce). But thats okay as this V put me over last years total. Did manage to get a 1952 rosie and another sterling ring. The wheat is a 1944.

Got a date off of the V...1912

Thanks for reading

Very nice finds, Al!

Dang the luck, finding V Nickels instead of Buffalos! lol

Be sure to check that 1912 V Nickel for a mint mark! thumbsup01

I have only so many digs per day that I can perform without putting myself in real pain but this weekend I will be digging those pulltabs signals and of course my favorite, the beaver tails.

The brass cricket will come through......
