Hit a Park I hunted pretty hard last year in hopes of finding my 40th Silver nickel. 2nd signal of the day was a Silver Washington. With a good start I hunted 3 hours and did manage to hit my 40th Silver Nickel as well as my 41st. For the year now I have found 41 Silver Nickels and 42 Buffaloes and a 6-pack of V's. The Etrac is definitely a nickel machine. When I recorded my finds I found myself 3 coins short of 3000 and .37 (cents) short of $200 in clad so I decided on a afternoon hunt to a park that is loaded with trash and clad. I managed to hit the $200 mark pretty quick and also managed to find a really deep Merc. Motivated to find some more silver I headed to the heavy trash area for some missed silver. At hunts end I was fortunate enough to find a total of 3 Mercs along with two I found on the morning hunt. Been awhile since I hit 8 silvers in a day and I was glad to have them. There is no better weather to detect in then Wisconsin fall. I'm hoping I can squeeze 2 more months out. Down to needing 8 more silver for a total of 400 for the last 2 years. Love this Etrac.
