Hit a house site that I ran over probably 6-7 times last year with my DFX and MXT. Wasn't expecting much but was surprised with these finds, especially the 1865 2-Cent Piece. Glad I decided to hit this yard one more time and maybe some more now. I probably missed these by the fractional swing of the coil, no fault of either the DFX or MXT, but the V3 sure did lock in on them. The 2-Cent Piece was 4 down, solid green bars at 51 VDI, and equally dominant at 7.5 red and 2.5 green in pin point mode. The first picture is how it came out of the ground, quarter sized with a hint of green and the tell-tale 2 shinning through. Cleaned up pretty good except for the heavy crustations and corrosion, still it is in pretty good shape with the WE just readable. I was hoping the Memorials were silver dimes as they hit hard at 77-80 VDI. Funny how there is a 100 year difference in the finds
!! Goes to show why you should go back again and again!!!
