War Nickel Amongst the Trash This Morning

Stopped off for about 45 minutes this morning and worked a small area about 10 x 10 in between the trees. This area was cleared of brush a couple of years ago and I still find things, although all the hi-tones are long gone. Just trying to dig the trash to reveal some more finds. I also found a cool old button, but I think I dropped it along the way. I will go back and see if I can find it and post pictures if I do.

Way to clean out an area of trash to find treasure. A good lesson to learn as the parks get more and more hunted out. Big WTG!!!!

I drove back over to the park and found the button right in the street where I was parked. It's not real old, but about 1 in diameter and I thought it was pretty cool lookin'.
