Wheats and Tokens

Steve and I set out this morning to get permission to hunt two sites, one a large wooded area that saw revolutionary war activity, the second a 1900's era abandoned house. Luck was on our side and we were given the go ahead on both :peace: happydance02. The woods site gave up a few wheaties and relics. Next we hit the old house where I found more wheats (oldest 1917) and 2 tokens: William Boyd Hoppalong Cassidy good luck and a 1955 Dave and Shari with Love good luck. A team was demolishing the house as we hunted and they said the house will be razed and back filled in 2 days time. Weather was great and we had a blast. HH.

Yes indeed! It was a good day for getting permission. We couldn't go wrong thumbsup01 We should have drove to Gettysburg and asked to detect! rofl The woods will be a winter spot for years to come. Love that little gun!

Nice going on securing persmission to hunt those properties. Very cool looking gun and congrats on the wheats and tokens.

Nice going on the cool finds . When I was a youngster I had one of those Hopalong Cassidy coins . I never knew what happened to it . Many years later I was detecting my parents yard and guess what popped up? That's right old Hoppy . I was going to enclose a photo but it looks like he took a walk again . That gun is cool also .
