Rob and I talked this AM and he said that he would be available to go out this afternoon. Soooo... I decided to hit a house down the street from me. Homeowner said the house was from 1880 so I was expecting some Seated, Barbers...I was greatly disappointed. Its a small yard but I did get a 1943 merc, 1909 IH and 4 wheats. Thought I had recovered my 1st silver thimble but it turned out to be alunimum.

Rob just called and he is on his way over. Hopefully I'll have some more goodies to post later.

1880... I'd be hoping for some Barbers and Seateds too. Seems like in my experience, add 20-30 years on to the house date and
those are usually the coins I find. Not always... but most of the time. :dontknow:
