Will the new NiZN rechargeable AA batteries damage my detectors?? I will be using them in my Minelab Explorer XS, my Garrett GTI1500 and my Garrett Sea Hunter Mark 2. I have read only good remarks about the NiZN's but I read they will total 13.0 volts when fully charged and I certainly don't want to ruin any of my MDs. THANKS for the advice!!

I bought them for my v3i they worked good for the first charge then 1 or 2 of them died and could not be charged again when 1 battery goes bad it draws the charge down fast from the other batteris, when the battery gets too low it dies and cannot be charged as well as one of my chargers went bad shortly afterwards so what I'm saying is I wouldn't buy them they are not dependable at least not until the second generation comes out.
