It has been gorgeous in Wisconsin and ground is thawed down to 4-5". Got out for 1st time in 2015 and my first silver of the year was a Washington quarter. never did that before, usually it's a dime. Let 2015 begin (2 weeks early). Wisconsin Digger

A silver quarter is a sweet way to start the new swingin' season! :detecting:
Congrats!
I went out in the back yard with my new Samson shovel last night after work and did a test plunge too.
It's about the same here. The top 4-6 inches is a soft mush. But still hard and frosty under that.
We're getting close now! :thumbsup02:

Your first silver coin of 2015 was a quarter! How awesome is that?! :thumbsup02:

I hope warmer weather is finally here to stay. Almost all of our snow is melted here now except for the big piles.

Congrats on your first hunt of the year! :clapping:

Very nice start to the new year. We are showing some signs here(actually can see some ground) so hopefully the digging won't be to far off.

Today has been gorgeous again! Hope it's treating you well! I have been much more lucky in the pop tab department.. no silvers yet :-)
