3/25 Fairground hunt - Silver - Ring

Went out to the fairgrounds yesterday for a couple hours, I had been itchin to go since the last few days we have had rain.
I tried a small area that I hadn't hit before, I was quite surprised as It was area kinda far away from the main area of the fairgrounds.
Right off the get go, I pulled a 1944 washington quarter about 7 deep, then a carnival ring it was pretty bent up but straightened it out ok, then finally a pendant which I believe is to hold a picture. Not gold , but brass and copper.
Hoping to head back out there today.

not a bad day out , keep working that area your going to hit a sweet spot i can feel it

Great finds! That pendant looks OLD. What an excellent site... lots of good stuff still there waiting for you I bet. :)

It never hurts to start off with silver lol Especially a quarter!! The adjustable ring did straighten out nicely. It's probably from the 50's or around there I'm guessing. I think there are advantages to being away from the action sometimes. People don't realize that the grounds could have looked a lot different than it does today. That quarter proves it. I would hunt that area hard.

Congrats on the silver and the jewelery. I agree, hit that area real hard. Got to be more there. thumbsup01
